British Passport Renewal Instruction Sheet

What You Need:

Passport Requirements: Proof of UK citizenship: Applicant must submit his/her expired/expiring UK passport.

Passport Photo Requirements: Two Passport Photographs.

Passport Application Forms: Application Form - Please select the appropriate application form from the list below:

Applicationformfor a UK passport (C1).

Applicationformfor a UK passport for children under the age of 16 (C2)

Applicationformfor a British National (Overseas) passport (BNO-A) (HONG KONG PIC HOLDERS ONLY)

Applicationformfor a British National (Overseas) passport for a child under 16 (BNO-B) (HONG KONG PIC HOLDERS ONLY)

Please note: If you have lost your passport and are applying for a new one you must also complete and sign FormLS01.

Letter of Authorization: Complete two (2) originals and one (1) copy of Letter of Authorization.

Proof of Departure: Computer generated flight itinerary from the airline or a travel agency, copy of airline ticket or a corporate letter stating US departure by private aircraft.

Additional Requirements: Letter of Consent - Young adults aged between 16 and 18 must have written parental consent for the issue of a new passport.

Global Reservation Form and Fees: Complete and print the Global Reservation Form (Order Summary Page) and include all necessary fees.

Processing Time: British passports are usually processed in five to ten business days.

Mailing Instructions:

Print this page and proceed to the Service Order Form. Complete all the fields with the necessary information and review the screen for accuracy. PRINT THE COMPLETED FORM and proceed to the Letter of Authorization. PRINT 2 COPIES of the form, fill them out and sign them.
